Cheryl R. Treadwell’s practice focuses on the resolution of disputes involving general commercial litigation, construction and employment matters, including alternative dispute resolution. Her litigation experience involves a wide range of matters, including contract disputes, business torts, probate litigation, construction issues, landlord-tenant disputes and employment matters.
Ms. Treadwell’s employment experience includes counseling clients in connection with restrictive employment covenants, separation issues and personnel policies. She also advises clients in matters arising under federal, state and local discrimination and employment statutes.
Significant Matters
- Defended multiple Title VII and § 1981 discrimination claims and obtained dismissals or favorable summary judgment rulings.
- Achieved dismissals or favorable settlements for clients defending contract disputes involving restrictive covenants and trade secrets.
- Defeated claims against individual and corporate defendants in premises liability action involving multiple parties and obtained summary judgment on all counts.
