Laura Kaper specializes in the areas of federal tax controversy and planning. She advises clients in every stage of the controversy process, including audits, appeals, and litigation. In relation to her tax planning practice, Ms. Kaper evaluates the federal tax consequences of multinational corporations' domestic and cross-border business transactions and operations. She also has experience in planning and executing significant corporate reorganizations, including tax-free spin-offs.
Prior to joining Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, Ms. Kaper was an in-house tax attorney for NCR Corporation, a Fortune 500 Company headquartered in Dayton, Ohio with business operations in more than one hundred countries.
