Lori N. Millians practices in the firm's Federal Tax Controversy Group. The primary focus of her practice is to assist both individuals as well as domestic and international companies of all sizes in disputes with the Internal Revenue Service. She works closely with clients on every step of the controversy process, including drafting protests, meeting with appeals, filing petitions in the Tax Court and complaints in District Court, and assisting with trial preparation and settlement discussions.
During law school, Ms. Millians interned with the Office of the United States Trustee. Before attending law school, Ms. Millians enjoyed a career as a computer and business systems analyst to the non-profit industry.
