Kimberly S. Bunting, a former in house attorney for several companies, including a large privately held company, two international companies and a Fortune 50 company, practices in the areas of commercial and corporate law, complex commercial transactions and contracts; real estate transactions; large capital expansion contracts; renewable energy and alternative fuel agreements; global services and products agreements, software licensing and implementation agreements, distribution agreements and mergers, acquisitions (both asset and stock) and divestitures with deal values typically from $5 million to $500 million.
Ms. Bunting also served as corporate risk manager for the Georgia-Pacific Corporation, in which capacity she was responsible for the placement of billions of dollars of insurance coverage and successful negotiation of numerous coverage matters, particularly in the products liability area. She has consulted with companies regarding their risk management programs to optimize coverage and reduce premiums.

- Counsel to a publicly traded company for a series of acquisitions of building products distribution businesses in various states in excess of $50 million deal value.
- Real estate counsel to a large privately held international company for a series of acquisitions of ready-mix concrete businesses in Florida in excess of $100 million deal value.
- Primary counsel to several private international companies for several heavy industry construction projects with a combined value of $1.2 billion.
- Risk Management Consultant advising several large multibillion-dollar privately held and Fortune 500 businesses regarding insurance program placements and coverage issues.
