Profile

Courtney is a member of the Estate Planning & Administration Section and the Tax Controversy and Litigation Section of the firm.  She assists high net worth individuals in estate planning, business succession planning, and trust and estate administration.  She also assists high net worth individuals, estates, and domestic corporations in all areas of tax controversy work, including audit, appeals, collections, and litigation.  Her background in Trust and Estate Planning, prior to joining the Tax Controversy and Litigation Section provides a solid foundation for her estate and gift tax controversy work.  She has handled many types of controversy matters, including those involving business valuation disputes, special use valuation, ESOP transactions, research and development credits, work opportunity tax credits, tax shelters, international tax compliance, and conservation easements.
