Gregg Jacobson is an associate in the firm’s Construction Group and Commercial Litigation Group in Atlanta.
Gregg’s construction practice involves both small subcontractors and multi-billion dollar general contractors, and focuses on issues relating to contract interpretation, claims for delay, extra work, change orders, liens, breach of contract, surety bond claims, and other common construction problems.
Gregg’s commercial litigation practice specializes in commercial disputes, representing financial institutions, multinational corporations, and small-to-medium sized businesses on breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, defamation, and drafting contracts for sale and redemption.
A former summer associate with the firm, Gregg graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in school, Gregg worked as a judicial intern for Judge Timothy C. Batten, Sr. on the Northern District of Georgia and Justice Keith Blackwell on the Georgia Supreme Court. He also spent his last year at school working as a Special Prosecutor at the Cobb County District Attorney’s office under Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney Michael Carlson.
Before law school, Gregg had an international opera career, singing tenor roles with Sarasota Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, New Jersey Verismo Opera, Opera Theatre of Lucca, Italy, and many others.
