William O. Grimsinger has extensive experience counseling individuals and businesses of all sizes with regard to tax and business problems.

He represents clients in federal and state tax controversies, both civil and criminal. He has handled and managed IRS and state civil audits and IRS criminal investigations. Mr. Grimsinger has represented clients in IRS and state administrative protests and appeals, and has prosecuted civil tax cases, defended criminal tax cases, and filed and litigated claims for refunds as well as represented clients in civil litigation related to tax matters.

Mr. Grimsinger’s practice includes federal and state business tax issues for private and public companies; payroll and employment tax matters for private and public companies; voluntary disclosures for businesses and individuals; and tax matters for individuals, including tax shelters, income tax, employment tax, and individual and transferee tax liability. He has successfully resolved matters including business income and deductions; white collar crime investigations; heavy truck and fuel excise tax matters; employment tax liabilities; assessed and asserted penalties; individual liability of business and individual tax assessments; worker classification disputes; and tax collections.
