Jennifer Simons maintains a blended practice involving both conflict resolution and contract negotiations.  She also recently served as interim in-house counsel for a publicly traded real estate investment trust.  Ms. Simons' broad experience enables her to understand her clients' goals from a business perspective while remaining mindful of potential consequences in an arbitration or litigation context.

Ms. Simons primarily represents real estate development and property management companies, as well as professional services and construction firms specializing in offshore oil and gas exploration and production. 

Significant Representations

• Obtained arbitration award in excess of $1.7 million for contract dispute over nonpayment of detailed design drawings completed in Nigeria.
• Successfully defended multi-billion dollar company in premises liability / wrongful death / third-party criminal activity lawsuit involving claims in excess of $250 million. 
• Obtained judgments in excess of $1.9 million on behalf of commercial property management company against tenants and third parties in cases involving breach of contract and property damage.
• Successfully represented two residential property management companies in dozens of legal disputes with tenants involving contract disputes and fair housing complaints.
