Five attorneys from Chamberlain Hrdlicka, David D. Aughtry, Gary S. Freed, Thomas E. Jones, Jr., James M. Kane and Jimmy Paul, have been selected as 2006 Georgia Super Lawyers, an honor given by Law & Politics and the publishers of Atlanta Magazine. Only the top five percent of attorneys in the state of Georgia are selected for the distinction.

The Georgia Super Lawyers list is compiled to identify lawyers who have practiced for at least five years and have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selected lawyers represent a wide range of practice areas, firm sizes and geographic locations.

"We are honored to have five of our attorneys on the Super Lawyers list," said Wayne A. Risoli, managing shareholder of Chamberlain Hrdlicka. "They are talented professionals and it is humbling to know their peers recognize them as the best in their profession."

Law & Politics invited 23,500 active attorneys to nominate outstanding lawyers they have observed in action. Nominees were grouped in more than 55 practice areas and asked to review and score a list of individuals in their primary area. Law & Politics verified and reviewed each nominees' credentials and ensured no attorney was overlooked.

David Aughtry, managing shareholder of the firm's Atlanta office, was named in the Top 100 listing, the "best of the best".
