    Jack P. Eckels – January 25, 1948 – November 7, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our longtime colleague and friend, Jack P. Eckels, Retired Shareholder of Chamberlain Hrdlicka. Jack's dedication to his clients, his integrity, and his thoughtful leadership left a lasting imprint on our firm and on everyone who had the privilege to work with him.

Jack built a distinguished career in tax, estate planning, and estate administration and was known for his steady judgment, technical mastery, and genuine kindness. He helped countless individuals, families, executors, and trustees navigate the complexities of tax law and estate planning.

Over the years, Jack’s practice spanned a wide array of client needs, from business tax planning and efficiency strategies to deeply personal matters of inheritance and legacy. He was particularly admired for his ability to translate sophisticated legal concepts into thoughtful, practical guidance for individuals and their families.

Jack’s influence remains deeply woven into the culture of our firm, where his legacy is felt in the people he mentored, the trust he built with clients, and the values he modeled.
