Samantha E. Rust is an associate attorney in Houston's Tax Planning and Business Transactions group. She earned her Juris Doctor and Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Houston Law Center where she was an Articles Editor and member of the Houston Law Review, Board 62. During law school, Samantha interned with two Houston federal judges where she researched and aided in drafting the court's opinion. Samantha was also a summer associate in Chamberlain Hrdlicka's Corporate practice group where she helped draft various types of consent actions and reviewed entity agreements. Prior to law school, Samantha completed her undergraduate studies at Sam Houston State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, minored in Sociology, and graduated magna cum laude.
