Joan M. McCallum practices labor and employment defense litigation and counseling, and is an associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment Group in Atlanta.
Ms. McCallum defends employers and law enforcement agencies in federal and state courts and administrative proceedings nationwide concerning alleged discrimination, harassment and retaliation involving sex, race, age, national origin, disability, and leave claims under the Family and Medical Leave Act.
She also provides preventative advice and tools for employers, including employee training, compliance programs, employee handbooks, policies, and procedures. Ms. McCallum has a broad science and healthcare background, providing her unique insight on employment law matters in the healthcare industry.
