Profile

Austin McCarthy is an associate attorney in the Tax Controversy and Litigation group in the Atlanta office. His practice involves representing individuals and business entities at all stages of tax controversy. Prior to joining Chamberlain Hrdlicka, Austin started his legal career with the Office of Chief Counsel, I.R.S. as a trial attorney. Austin has experience working with tax motivated investment transactions with a local boutique law firm and private investment company.

Austin received his J.D. with Honors from Emory University where he served as the Executive Articles Editor for the Emory International Law Review. Austin graduated from Boston University with a major in Economics.
