Profile
Christine Norstadt brings a professional and positive “can-do” nature to her practice of commercial real estate law. In the business of fast-moving transactions, she is an effective force for her clients – a deal driver and a problem solver.
Christine counsels owners, managers and users of office, retail and industrial properties, apartments and land in all aspects of commercial real estate. Her clients span from individual, local investors to national real estate funds. Most frequently, Christine’s representation involves acquisitions and dispositions, financing, leasing and development matters. She also has experience with real estate litigation matters such as quiet title proceedings, easement disputes and lease enforcement litigation.
Christine and her husband reside in East Cobb, where they are active parents to their three young children and enjoy a variety of sports and outdoor activities. She is also a member of the East Cobb Rotary Club.
Representative Matters
- Represented developer in the complex disposition of apartment project involving a defeasance of the existing loan
- Represented owner/developer in the complex disposition of an apartment project in mid-construction, including post closing escrow and development services agreements, as well as the assignment and assumption of the existing construction loan
- Represented developer in the acquisition and redevelopment of a historic mill property in Greenville, South Carolina
- Local counsel for national investor in the acquisition, financing and disposition of a portfolio of light industrial/office properties throughout the metro Atlanta area
- Counsel for buyer/borrower in the purchase and financing of Class A office buildings and apartment complexes throughout the metro area
- Working with condemnation counsel, represent owner in connection with the sale of property in lieu of a City's exercise of its eminent domain power
- Represent regional investor in connection with purchase and financing of residential duplexes, triplexes and quadplexes throughout Midtown Atlanta
- Represent local developer in a quiet title proceeding to acquire title to an alley necessary for development of a site
- Represent local investor in quiet title proceeding for tax sales
