This includes working with managers at many different stages - from designing legally compliant workplace policies to litigating complex questions before federal courts.

Mr. Fielding has experience litigating a variety of statutes that impact the workplace. He has represented employers in disputes involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Section 1981, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Family Medical Leave Act. His experience also includes representing employers throughout litigation involving questions of adequate payment under the Fair Labor Standards Act and investigations into employer payment practices initiated by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Aside from litigation, Mr. Fielding has also helped employers draft enforceable non-compete and non-disclosure agreements as a method of providing comprehensive protection for essential trade secrets.

Additionally, Mr. Fielding has experience helping clients navigate labor law issues. This includes representing employers in arbitrations sought by unionized employees under collective bargaining agreements. Mr. Fielding has also helped employers address factually intensive investigations initiated by the National Labor Relations Board.
