Profile
Jessica E. Kimes is an associate in Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s International Tax practice, based in the firm's Houston office. Her practice focuses on international tax matters, drawing on experience gained while serving with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, where she led cases before the U.S. Tax Court and assisted examination teams with complex international taxation issues.
Jessica represents clients in a variety of federal tax matters and leverages her government experience to help individuals and businesses navigate disputes with taxing authorities and address sophisticated cross-border tax issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Jessica served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Christopher M. López of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Jessica earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2020, where she was a member of the Houston Law Review. She received her B.S. from Texas A&M University.
