Many board members join a nonprofit's board because they care about the issues the organization addresses, but nonprofits are so busy they often have trouble finding the time to train board members. However, nonprofit board members need to understand just what they have agreed to do.
During this workshop, our speaker will help nonprofits and their board members understand:
- the role of the board and its board members;
- the duties of the board and its board members; and
- to whom a board and board members are accountable.
