A Year of Uncertainty

November 2016
Accounting Today

In an article published in the November 2016 issue of Accounting Today, Scot Kirkpatrick provides guidance to businesses looking ahead and planning for 2017’s taxes. The article details how the uncertainty “regarding the impact of the election on taxes and the economy, the debt-equity regulations, new overtime rules, health care decisions, new partnership audit rules…are issues of concern in the minds of many business leaders as we approach a new year.” Kirkpatrick states, “During 2017, people will continue to do the same things they’ve been doing — running their businesses in a very hostile environment because of government regulations. There needs to be a good relationship between business and the government, but that doesn’t currently seem to be the case.” For the full article, you may click here.
