Margaret “Maggie” Shehane is an associate in Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s Corporate practice. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Mercer University School of Law in 2026 as a George W. Woodruff Scholar. While at Mercer, she served as a member of the Mercer Law Review and Moot Court Advocacy Team and received numerous honors for her academic and advocacy work, including the Faculty Legal Writing Award and recognition in the National Appellate Advocacy Competition. She also interned with several law firms, FedEx, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Georgia.

Maggie’s academic distinctions include membership in Phi Delta Phi Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, Order of the Scribes, and the Brainerd Currie Honor Society. She was a co-champion at the 2026 National Appellate Advocacy Competition regional competition in San Francisco and was a quarterfinalist at the national finals.

Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Maggie earned her B.A., cum laude, in History and French & Francophone Studies from Davidson College in 2021. Before attending law school, she taught French in Columbus, Georgia.
