October 28, 2025

HOUSTON, October 29, 2025 — Legal 500 today announced two Chamberlain Hrdlicka shareholders, Habeeb “Hobbs” Gnaim and Dave Pierson, to its inaugural U.S. City Elite ranking in Mergers and Acquisitions category in Houston.

Habeeb “Hobbs” Gnaim serves as the Chair of Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s Tax Planning and Business Transactions section where he focuses on tax and corporate matters, including the formation, governance, reorganization, and internal restructuring of corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies. Gnaim has significant experience in all aspects of structuring, negotiating, and implementing business acquisitions and dispositions, corporate reorganizations, mergers, conversions, recapitalizations, and other ongoing general corporate governance. Gnaim was recently named a finalist for The Legal Advisor of the Year Award at the 23rd Annual The M&A Advisor Awards and a finalist for Dealmaker of the Year at the 2024 Texas Legal Awards.

Dave Pierson leads the Houston members of Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s Corporate, Securities & Finance group, where he focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, private securities offerings, joint ventures, recapitalizations and internal buy-outs. Pierson brings his years of experience as a lawyer, fortified by his prior seasoning as a CPA and “Big Four” auditor, to help middle-market companies, and entrepreneurs aiming for growth and a bountiful exit event, structure and negotiate business acquisitions and divestitures, raise private equity and debt capital, form companies, build and maintain solid corporate governance practices, and otherwise deal with the inevitable legal needs that arise as enterprises mature.

These recognitions underscore the firm's ongoing success in guiding clients through significant M&A deals and follow Chamberlain Hrdlicka's recent selection as the 2024 M&A Law Firm of the Year by The M&A Advisor.

Legal 500’s U.S. City Elite rankings highlight the nation’s top lawyers at regional powerhouses who handle high-end legal work in their respective cities. Recognized attorneys are selected based on interviews with top practitioners, referee and peer feedback, and key matters worked on by the ranked attorneys during the past year.
