Diana Perez Gomez recognized for continued commitment to promoting practices that advance diversity and inclusion

Diana Perez Gomez, shareholder in Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s Houston Labor & Litigation Practice, has been named among the Houston Business Journal’s 2024 Outstanding Diversity Champions, in recognition of her continued commitment to promoting practices that advance diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, through initiatives Gomez has championed both within the firm, as well as part of her numerous roles with professional and civic organizations. Gomez was previously recognized by the Houston Business Journal as one of the 2022 Women Who Mean Business honorees.

Part of HBJ’s Diversity in Business Awards, Outstanding Diversity Champion recognizes individuals who have shown initiative to promote diversity and inclusion either within the community or their for-profit and nonprofit organizations. The Houston Business Journal will recognize all honorees at its Diversity in Business Awards luncheon on March 28, 2024.

Gomez is a shareholder at Chamberlain Hrdlicka, where she serves on the firm’s Board of Directors, as the national co-chair for the labor and employment practice, as well as the national chair for the Pro Bono Committee. She also currently serves as the 2023/2024 Houston Bar Association’s president, championing initiatives that include fostering community service, increasing attorney engagement, and reinvigorating pipeline programs. She is the first Latina president of the 153-year-old organization.
