In the July issue of The Associated General Contractors of America Constructor Magazine, Gina Vitiello helps to break down public-private construction partnerships and their complexities. “Every time I hear about a new P3 project, the model is different,” Gina said. “In some cases it’s a matter of creative financing, that a given stakeholder owns the property but doesn’t want to do the capital outlay or tax breaks to a private entity. They are literally taking all different shapes and forms.” Vitiello also discusses that due diligence on the part of the contractor can make or break a P3 arrangement.
