LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – TAX DEPARTMENT
We are looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant with 2 to 5 years of experience, with at least two of the years in a law firm. This candidate must be energetic, have excellent communication skills and can complete assignments with little or no supervision. Experience with assisting a very busy & fast-paced legal practice (tax department experience not necessary), should be able to be given a project and complete it with little direction, handle difficult/last-minute deadlines and work with a variety of strong personalities.
Working knowledge and experience:
- Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
- Calendar appointments
- Send calendar invites
- Revise/update Excel reports
- Create/revise/update PowerPoint presentations
- General document revisions in Word.
- Handle filings, mailings
- Back-up for answering phones and taking messages for associate team
- General administrative work as necessary to assist two other Legal Assistants
- No tax experience necessary
Hours are 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., with very little overtime (any overtime will be paid). Salary mid 50’s.
