Jennifer Karpchuk selected as "Lawyer on the Fast Track 2021"
In an article published in The Legal Intelligencer on June 14, 2021, Philadelphia-based Shareholder Jennifer Karpchuk was profiled as a Lawyer on the Fast Track, highlighting her experience representing companies and individuals in various matters related to state and local taxation, with an emphasis on the minimization of state and local tax obligations.
Karpchuk “handles state and local tax matters, including those related to: corporate income taxes, franchise taxes, gross receipts taxes, excise taxes, personal income taxes, sales and use taxes, business privilege taxes, and real estate and property taxes,” the article explains.
The article further explains Karpchuk’s experience as co-chair of the firm’s S.A.L.T. practice, chair of the state and local tax committee for the Philadelphia Bar Association, and the vice chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s tax section. As a member of American Bar Association’s transaction tax overpayment task force, she works alongside members to facilitate states’ adoption of the ABA’s “Model Transactional Tax Overpayment Act.”
