Jaime Vasquez Elected President-Elect of San Antonio Bar Association Board of Directors

SAN ANTONIO, May 1, 2025 – Chamberlain Hrdlicka is pleased to announce Jaime Vasquez, Managing Shareholder of the firm’s San Antonio office, has been selected to the 2025-2026 San Antonio Bar Association (SABA) Board of Directors as President-Elect. Vasquez currently serves as Treasurer of the organization and his one-year term as President-Elect will begin August 1, 2025 before transitioning his role to President in 2026.

In this role, Vasquez will collaborate with the President to help guide the organization’s leadership and strategic direction, playing a vital role in advancing SABA’s mission to inform, educate, connect, and serve the legal community and the public.

Founded in 1898, SABA is the largest volunteer bar association in San Antonio with members representing all levels of civic leadership including the judiciary, law firms, businesses, and professional organizations. The organization is dedicated to serving clients and the public with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to equal justice for all under law.

Vasquez is a member of the firm’s Tax Practice and focuses his work on federal, state, and international tax and transactional matters. His work includes advising on and resolving tax controversies related to income, employment, sales, franchise, motor fuels, tobacco, and other excise taxes before the IRS and various state tax authorities. Vasquez’s leadership extends beyond SABA, as he also serves as a member of the audit committee for the San Antonio Water System (SAWS), a board member for the San Antonio Legal Services Association (SALSA), and a Pro Bono Committee Co-Chair for the State Bar of Texas (SBOT) Tax Section.
