Article by Houston Business Journal with Larry Campagna about 2021 Most Admired CEOs
During a virtual ceremony on August 19, Larry Campagna, Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s managing shareholder, was recognized among the 2021 recipients of the Houston Business Journal’s Most Admired CEOs Awards.
The award recipients were selected by an independent panel of judges, who considered characteristics such as contribution to company success, civic involvement, career achievement and more. Honorees were also recognized in a special section of the Houston Business Journal’s weekly print edition on August 20, 2021.
Speaking to the Houston Business Journal, Campagna shared how the pandemic has affected his leadership style.
“The crisis proved the resiliency of our personnel and the close, family-like bonds that our attorneys and staff have with each other,” said Campagna. “Operating remotely reminded me to accelerate my efforts to be as transparent and communicative as possible about our management decisions. I kept my communications positive, personal, and heartfelt.”
Campagna also shared his insights on changes to the workplace following the COVID-19 pandemic, commenting that the work week and the work environment are likely to evolve rapidly.
“The jury is still out on how much our firm and our society will change. People seem anxious to return to ‘normal,’ but the pandemic demonstrated that we can practice law remotely and still serve our clients effectively,” added Campagna.
