The American Lawyer highlights Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s New Data Security & Privacy Practice

October 27, 2020

Chamberlain Hrdlicka's new Data Security & Privacy Practice is highlighted in an article by The American Lawyer

A recent The American Lawyer article, 'As Cybersecurity Practices Become a Must-Have, More Firms "Give It the Right Name,"' discusses the growing demand for cybersecurity and privacy services and mentions our new Data Security & Privacy practice, launched earlier this month.  The article discusses that Aly Dossa, an intellectual property shareholder in Houston, is the chair of the practice and that Aly "has experience on a range of data privacy and protection issues, including information handling, cross-border data transfers, global compliance obligations, and mitigating and responding to data breaches and theft."

“It’s really just a realization that this has been a separate discipline for a while. Now firms are starting to recognize that people are looking for this particular expertise, so [we have to] give it the right name so people can find it. We’ve had people doing this kind of work for a long time,” said Larry Campagna, Chamberlain Hrdlicka's managing shareholder.
