In an article published on June 29, 2021, in Law360, Stephanie Friese and Scott Augustine, co-managing shareholders in the firm’s Atlanta office, are profiled highlighting their new positions.

Friese and Augustine told Law360 that they're honored to have been chosen for this role. Friese, who joined the firm in March 2019 after running her own firm, said she looks forward to helping with strategic initiatives. Augustine joined the firm in 2000 and has led the Atlanta office’s corporate, securities and finance practice since 2017.

Friese further shared that "[Augustine] is a great person to have as a co-chair because of his longevity with the firm and understanding more of the history and inner workings. He has a lot more institutional memory, but because of that, he wanted somebody who had a fresher perspective and a forward-looking mindset, so I think we're a good team in that way."

Augustine explained the firm has seen growth in all practice areas even as the firm shifted to remote work due to the pandemic. He noted the firm didn't lay off or cut hours for attorneys or staff last year. "Due to our client relations or just increased visibility within the industries in the Atlanta market, our revenues continue to grow fortunately," said Augustine. "We're well-positioned as the economy hopefully takes a turn out of the pandemic situation to continue to attract lateral hires."

"I think Stephanie and I are both encouraged by the current position of the firm, and we look forward to assisting in the current stability and growth of the firm going forward," said Augustine.
