Seth Price quoted in an article, “The Dotted Line: Why ChatGPT needs a (construction) lawyer,” in Construction Dive
In a Construction Dive article that published on May 31, 2023, Atlanta-based Shareholder Seth Price discusses the impact ChatGPT could have in the construction industry. The article discusses that ChatGPT could be a promising tool that could offload case law summaries or fact-checking required clauses in contracts but that is also highlights a plethora of concerns.
“To some degree, it scares the living daylights out of me,” said Price. “On the other hand, I had a client with a very strong in-house legal department ask ChatGPT for the best defenses to a liquidated damages claim, and it came up with a pretty good list.”
Price further explained that “the risk of an unsophisticated party using something like this is that they won’t know what they don’t know.”
