Chamberlain Hrdlicka Enhances Firm and Individual Chambers Rankings for 2019

For the 12th consecutive year Chambers & Partners ranked national law firm Chamberlain Hrdlicka among the top tax law firms in the United States on both state and national levels.

The firm maintained its Band 3 ranking in the Tax Controversy category, placing Chamberlain Hrdlicka among top ten US tax controversy firms. In total, nine attorneys from the firm’s Houston, Atlanta and Philadelphia offices achieved individual state and national rankings in the areas of tax, tax controversy, tax litigation, and tax fraud.

Several recognized attorneys received Chambers’ top honors. Larry Campagna, a shareholder at Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s Houston office, was ranked again as a top tier attorney in Tax Fraud and Tax Litigation. David Aughtry, a shareholder in the Atlanta office, was named a Star Individual for the eighth year in a row and recognized in the Tax category.

New to the 2019 Chambers report are Brett Berly, a shareholder in the Houston’s Trusts and Estates practice, ranked as “Up and Coming” in High Net Worth Law, and Steven Knight, a shareholder in the Houston’s Litigation Practice, named “Recognized Professional” in Litigation: Appellate.

Sources interviewed by Chambers pointed to Chamberlain Hrdlicka’s knowledge of the tax code and previous cases as strengths and praised attorneys as very experienced in tax controversy and other matters, with a broad base of tax knowledge. They also recognized the firm as very client service-oriented and for its know how to deal with the IRS.
