Chamberlain Hrdlicka is proud to announce that two client transactions led by the firm were honored as winners at the 24th Annual M&A Advisor Awards held on November 19 in New York City. The awards program honors the professionals whose achievements have established an exceptional benchmark for dealmaking excellence. This year's finalists were chosen from over 1,000 nominations, demonstrating the extensive scope and caliber of expertise throughout the industry.
Chamberlain was recognized as winners in the following categories:
Corporate/Strategic Deal of the Year
The acquisition of East Texas Oil and Gas Assets by Buckhorn Productions.
This transaction was led by Chair of the firm’s Tax Planning and Business Transactions group Habeeb “Hobbs” Gnaim, with a major contribution from Jack Najarian, whose efforts were instrumental to closing the deal. The team also included Matt J. Stirneman, Jack Li, Marianne Standley, Greg Henson, and William Cowan whose work played key roles throughout the transaction.
Information Technology Deal of the Year
The acquisition of Applied Value Technologies, Inc. (US), Applied Value Technologies B.V. (Netherlands), and Applied Value Technologies Ptd. Ltd. (Singapore) by Wipro Ltd. (India).
The transaction was led by Scott A. Augustine, Erica L. Opitz, and Joan M. McCallum. Key contributors included Aly Dossa, Mark Lubin, Marcus Burnside, and Keegan McCaster.
